Издание на английском языке This publication presents the revised annex to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Fishing Vessel Personnel, 1995 (STCW-F Convention) and the new Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Fishing Vessel Personnel Code (STCW-F Code) , both adopted by the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) at its 108th session. The Convention articles and annex provide the legal framework within which the mandatory technical standards contained in part A of the new STCW-F Code are applied. Part В of the STCW-F Code provides guidance towards a uniform application of STCW-F Convention requirements for those involved in educating, training and assessing the competence of fishing vessel personnel or who are otherwise involved in applying STCW-F Convention provisions. The amendments presented in the 2025 edition introduce new training and certification requirements and methodologies; improve mechanisms for enforcement of the provisions of the STCW-F Convention; and raise the standards of competence and professionalism of fishing vessel personnel.
