This publication examines the actions of the Argentine Navy's aviation in the Falklands/Malvinas conflict and the use of Dassault-Breguet Super Etendard aircraft armed with Exocet missiles. The book examines the rebirth of the Second Naval Fighter-Attack Squadron, preparations for war in the South Atlantic, the deployment south, the first combat encounters, and the changing tactics during the conflict. Particular attention is given to the attacks that led to the sinking of HMS Sheffield and SS Atlantic Conveyor, the final operations against the British Task Force, the withdrawal to Espora, and the postwar period.
