This publication is devoted to British anti-submarine warfare in the South Atlantic during the conflict. The book examines the actions of the submarine HMS Superb, the nature of the underwater threat, the composition and tactics of British anti-submarine forces, and episodes of searching for and pursuing potential underwater targets. Special attention is given to the tense situation at sea, erroneous contacts, command decisions, and the gradual mitigation of the threat toward the end of the war.
