Diving can be dangerous, even with the use of modern equipment and qualified personnel. Halul Offshore Services Company has developed emergency procedures for air supply and saturation diving operations, describing the necessary actions and those responsible for them. The document covers both predictable and extreme situations, such as serious damage or flooding of the DSV Shaddad vessel. In such cases, a diving bell or a self-propelling hyperbaric rescue boat (SPHL) can be used for evacuation, providing 72 hours of life-sustaining gas reserves. The purpose of the document is to provide information for the successful planning and execution of rescue in emergency situations.
