Welcome to the 2010 edition of the Guide to Cruising Chesapeake Bay, and congratulations on choosing the best such guide available. There's a lot of information in these 368 pages, so if you're new to the guide, I suggest you have a look at the table of contents (page 1) and familiarize yourself with how the book is organized. You'll see that we divide the Bay's cruising territory into nine sections, north to south, from upper Chesapeake (Section 1) to the James River and Hampton Roads at the mouth of the Bay (Section 9).
